- September Business Lunch - Wednesday 11 September
This first of our events is to be held on Wednesday 11 September at the Mulgrave Country Club for a very social business lunch at 12noon. Our speaker for the day is David Cannington, Senior Economist & Property Analyst for the ANZ bank.
Graduating with a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Melbourne, David worked as an economist for the Australian Government at the Productivity Commission and Australian Bureau of Statistics and also worked as an economist at Greater London Authority in 2002. Moving to ANZ David has worked as an economic analyst and modeller for the past 13 years, and since 2007 he has worked as a Senior Economist & Property Analyst.
Based in Melbourne, David works in ANZ Research, providing analysis on the Australian property market and financial system.
He is responsible for analysing economic trends and developments in these sectors and developing economic forecasting models. At the Monash Business Awards Lunch in September he will share with us some of his insights into these trends and how we can use them in forward planning within our own business.
